Welcome to Wine a Little

Hi and welcome to my blog.  Blogging is new to me but something I have always wanted to try.  Okay, actually I tried to start one years ago and failed…terribly haha.  So hopefully now that I am a few years wiser and a little more organized I will be more successful this time around.  I plan to keep this light-hearted and fun because the world is an ugly place that could use some positivity.  I will be focusing on living simple and practical.

A little bit about me

I grew up in a rural small town in Minnesota with family also from the Chicago area.  I had the best of both worlds; driving on gravel roads and a taste of the big city life.  This being said, have the road rage of a city driver in my hometown with one stop light.

I graduated from Winona State University and studied paralegal.  Although I am not currently working in the paralegal field, my time spent at WSU were some of the best years of my life.  Winona also introduced me to some of the best amazing people who I am beyond blessed to have met.  Without my time spent here I honestly do not believe I would be the person I am today.  I may be biased but go to school here….trust me.  🙂

Currently, I am living in a small town in Wisconsin with the Mississippi River in my back “yard” (I live in an apartment building)…along with trains.  I am convinced they only go by at night when I am trying to fall asleep and honk. I left the paralegal field and started working as an International Supply Chain Analyst in February.  Actually, to describe it better I took a leap of faith and stepped away from my comfort zone to try something new.  Turns out, taking chances can lead to good things.  Change is good people!

Oh, and if you couldn’t tell by the name of my blog I love wine.  🙂

That’s all for now.
